Annual Bike-a-Thon

Eighteen years ago, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately it was terminal, and soon she passed.

To deal with my grieving, I hopped on my Harley and I took a ride across the USA, with the hopes of finding the answer.

When I returned, I decided to write a book in her memory. I also thought, throughout the nine years it took to get the book written and published, that it would be wonderful if I helped even one person better deal with the loss of a loved one. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of my book go toward cancer research at MD Anderson in Houston, Texas.

In 2009, I started an Annual Bike-a-Thon.

I ride thousands of miles each summer based on donations. All of the money—100%—goes toward cancer research at MD Anderson.

This year, I’m going on my Annual Bike-a-Thon and I ask for your support.

I thank you for your support.
